Our Story

Omen & Origin creates wearable symbols and private stories for the experiences that shape people — the ones that are difficult to explain and easy to recognize once seen.

Why This Exists

Some of what shapes us never gets a name. A season we survived. A version of ourselves we outgrew. A truth we understood long before we had the words for it.

Omen & Origin gives those experiences a form you can carry — not a slogan, and not decoration, but a symbol with its meaning stated plainly, drawn as original blackwork, and paired with a complete short story that belongs to whoever owns it.

We began with a single standard, and we have not moved from it: Nothing Without Meaning. Every Chapter has to earn its place with more than a good image.

How a Chapter Works

Meaning, then symbol, then artwork, then garment, then a private story — and a permanent place in your Library.

The symbol is public

The artwork and its meaning are open to everyone, before any purchase. You should recognize a Chapter before you decide to carry it. We will never ask you to buy something to find out what it means.

The story belongs to those who carry it

Ownership opens the complete short story, its narration, and the full symbol guide — kept for good in your Library. That is the reward, not a wall around the meaning.

Each Chapter stands alone

You can hold Chapter Nine without reading the eight before it. The Chapters share a world and a set of symbols, never a homework assignment.

Made to be kept

Premium garments in obsidian black, printed with restraint, meant to be carried for years. An edition closes once and is not reissued; a released Chapter remains in the Archive for good.

Who It Is For

Omen & Origin is not dark art for its own sake, and it is not built on anyone's worst day. It is for people who want what they wear to say something true without explaining everything aloud.

If you have reinvented yourself, set a boundary that cost you something, or held a purpose no one else could see, there is likely a Chapter here that already understands it.

Our Promise

We hold one line beneath everything we make. We would rather release less, and later, than release something hollow on time. When a Chapter opens, its meaning will be clear, its story complete, and its making honest.

Thank you for being here at the beginning.
